Just south of Petersfield, the Red Lion is in the village of Chalton. With the A3(M) and A27 running close by it's convenient for those heading to and from the coast, and also handy for the many surrounding golf courses - perfect for a post-game pint!
By Car
Take the Clanfield/Chalton exit of the A3M, turn right at the end of the slip road, turn right at the mini roundabout and then the next left. Pass Butser Ancient Farm and The Red Lion is at the top of the hill.

The area surrounding The Red Lion is a haven for walkers, with trails criss-crossing the countryside all over the place. The Queen Elizabeth Country Park is nearby and if you're feeling adventurous, the rewarding stroll up Butser Hill is an excellent way to work up an appetite for a hearty dinner!
